Since @mixed_biscuits was pretty insistent that a vote for Labour in our own recent election was "a vote for white supremacism" due to the skin colour of the leaders of the two main contending parties, I assume he's backing Harris to the hilt in the forthcoming US election?

I suppose it's two sides of one coin. If he didn't get away with so much he'd not behave like this.

Real world consequences notwithstanding I do enjoy finding out about the latest hopeless stooge he's hired/fired.

Have you seen how the Dems have picked up and run with this take, whereas the Tories avoided it completely. How much wiser the American political scene is than ours?

Just to clarify one thing. These racially good segregated campaign calls Kamala is having have nothing to do with our party's historical struggle for bad segregation. The parties switched at some unspecified but definite point in history, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

This might be because, in the US, the other side actually is openly supported by white supremacists.

A small detail, maybe, but it does shine a different light on things if you think really hard about it.

You're right, guinea pigs continue to deal with systemic oppression - there is no candidate on offer who would not oppress us in a heartbeat. You wouldn't believe how fast my wheel is going rn from the anxiety. Eeeeeee

The Democrats may have happened on a winning strategy with this pivot to labeling Vance weird/creepy, seems to be cutting through and winding up some of the Republicans.

It's much more effective than their usual thing of branding someone a terrifying fascist as that just makes them seem cool and dangerous in the eyes of their supporters. If you call them a creepy weirdo, it isn't cool. It's embarrassing and something people don't want to be associated with.

Vance having seemingly no charisma and going down like a lead balloon in the various public appearances I've seen only strengthens their argument.

Biden dropping out appears to have sapped some of Trump's momentum too. The energy's all with Harris at present.

Can you see it being sustained? Vance is heir apparent for the GOP and Trump but look at the journey Pence took. It’s entertaining in a ridiculous US cavalcade sense and world hotspots are particularly volatile currently

Mental how the debate has moved on as rapidly, I mean the cunt did get shot in the ear mm’s from having an exploded water melon for a bonce to be seen by billions. You have to question the impact such an act could have on the psyche of an entitled narcissistic sociopath who was favourite just a short while ago. Trump cannot possibly have processed what just happened. It will visit him in quiet and busy moments over the coming months and weeks - will he bottle it on stage as an example. Worth keeping observations simply from a psychological perspective, still, grim as fuck. Harris could get popped too at this rate
