i was very inspired by a boy named lloyd who was nice to me when i moved to portway primary he smiled straight away. he was the best. he lived near west ham hall of fame. he showed me a lot. he beat up jay basu for me even tho i didnt ask him too. jay ended up writing transformers movies. last i heard lloyd got arrested for serving heroin. lifes not fair.

there was a crazy elasticity to the vocal styles around this time and place. Elasticity of pitch, upredictable, flicking up and down, and stop-start bunching up then stretching out of syllables and spaces inbetween, jerking and bending.

That hyper supple teenage energy and into calcification into middle age arid stiffness, that process was so bleak for this wave of rappers.
