I once worked with someone whose ex-boss was a member, he asked me 'have you heard of" and I laughed, but maybe I'm really thinking of 'Bentley rhythm Ace"? No, the guy was actually from neds, they ended up being the manager of a north of england arts centre

@blissblogger: I'm pretty sure the NME / SOUNDS endorsement of the style propagated by NEDS ATOMIC DUSTBIN, CARTER THE UNSTOPPABLE SEX MACHINE, and the also runners, BENTLEY RHYTHM ACE had a name but it wasn't so snappy and I fail to remember it... can you enlighten us?

Neds Atomic seem possibly construable as 'late grebo'
One of Bentley Rhythm Ace used to be in grebo-aligned turned cackhanded-samplers Pop Will Eat itself
