Yeah that’s the thing, we’re all rather vulnerable. Even the denunciations of and sabbaticals from it always come in the form of a post, and are sooner or later followed by more and more posts.

the internet has made people believe that the sky is not Real

One obsession I really never understood. Surely the poisoning is happening even in ways we can’t measure, but the sky comparison photos have always fallen flat for me. I’ve got a reasonable friend who reposts them from time to time but in another online twist I suspect he just finds them particularly funny

I witnessed and was minorly part of a twitter storm the other week, and when I said to someone "I wasn't talking to you", they freaked and went "This is the internet! You're talking to everyone" and I was like "I was talking to everyone, yeah, but not to you" and they then went and dug up everything they could find about me - which was fun - and proceeded to try and post it and besmirch my identity, which was a joke cos it wasn't my real profile. The whole storm wasn't even about me. It was really awful for the people involved in the real storm though, I haven't witnessed one in real time before, thousands of people suddenly becoming hideous moral barometers, it was really quite scary.

I read a discussion last night where someone said they felt there were people mistaking their porn preferences for their sexuality. The argument was they may not actually be into the things they're watching if they were to encounter them irl because the porn experience doesn't make use of the full range of senses.

The specific example they used was some women thinking they're bisexual because they like seeing women in porn, but who wouldn't actually want to sleep with a woman irl.

Was this about Oatibix vs Weetabix again?

Yes, in real life I would probably prefer Annie Wilkes to Godzilla rather than the other way round.

I wouldn't call sterilising children because of fundamental errors of fact and logical argument inconsequential.

But surely sterilisation is acceptable given you have led us to believe you are a geniocrat?

Errors of fact and logic shouldn't matter, in your schema, given that the plebeian herd will always make fundamental errors of fact and logic.
