i signed up to reddit because i wanted to ask something specific about my mountainbike and how to fix it. got some lovely tips and help from some nerds but then i got recommended some other threads and i started engaging and now i'm banned from reddit for calling a nazi a nazi. twitter same thing, it's full of racists and weirdo's. you see a post of some news article about how a child living 14 years in holland, born and raised will be deported cos of the new fascist government and you'll just see hordes of people cheering in the comments.

there's no good fight .. the simple way to fix this is to neither ignore nor ban, but put their posts on moderator approval. guaranteed overnight success.

Rightwingers rambling on the internet are hardly a problem. Why do you think Denmark has no right wing of any significant influence? Because we did not clamp down on these types compared to our neighbouring countries Sweden and Germany as the most egregious examples (and increasingly the UK as well apprarently)
