As per the poll, which style of Pizza do you prefer?

Reason for asking, I had a Detroit style pizza last night and forgot how nice they were, when I'd got used to Chicago style.

Detroit is square and different base. I ate them for quite a while without realising they were a Detroit dish.

Yeah, I didn't even know there was a Detroit style, tbh. I'd probably pick Detroit of the two as I'm not a fan of the huge crust on Chicago, but think I'd go New York over both.

You can get them in the supermarket, tbf. I've just looked up pizza styles and there are tons though.

i never knew that the square style was detroit - interesting
i don't know if i necessarily prefer one crust style over another, it's more like whole the how pizza is put together and how well the sauce, cheese and toppings work with the crust
there was one pizza place in washington that i really liked, may have been my favorite pizza - can't remember the name
it was a thin crust pizza with interesting toppings like peanuts, herbs and such

Most pizzas I have are Chicago style. I've never knowingly had a New York one but it looks familiar, and would have been more fitting as I ate it watching the original The Taking of Pelham 123 last night, didn't rate the film that high but loved the Detroit pizza.
