Just finished Monument Maker and, yes, it’s probably too long but I think many on here would really like it. This is more like the Keenan who wrote Hidden Reverse about Coil etc. Very much in the searching, mystical territory. If one were being unkind one could say it has David Mitchell (Cloud Atlas bloke) elements- mix of genres, seemingly unconnected stories that slowly link and refract but he’s much better, less schematic, far more fun. And it is self indulgent but reading many of the posters on here…well , you get the idea. And there’s a bit of smut in it for those who need that in their novels. It’s got the right balance of playful and dead earnest.

I finished the higgs bio of blake, pretty good. Sort of goes a bit off track at the end when he tries to mount a half hearted critique based on gender, nature, some other stuff.
He actually mentions mycorrhizal and tree intelligence, shows how pervasive that idea has become.

Got this for my birthday and have just finished it. Pretty good, although perhaps not quite as good as Uzumaki, and much shorter. I'll post some photos, as the art is as incredible as ever. Although I see he still hasn't learned how to draw more than one "pretty girl face", haha.

I read that earlier this year. It's really interesting, lots of history unknown to me. I found it occupied a bit of a weird place in relation to Vodou though.
