the idea of california itself is quite interesting, its as far west as you can get. the ocean after the desert etc. makes sense it would be the location for dream makingThat's why Hollywood was in California apparently, the light. Made shooting easier.
but the one before had actual cowboysI'm still waiting for someone to tell me the last good Western. The last Tarantino references that history I guess (though a film about Hollywood, not a Western in itself)
