Why Conspiracy Theories?

what you choose to believe here is completely and utterly arbitrary. But Leo hasn't followed Biscuits specific twist of thought through the argument. The legal power the WEF holds as an organisation is neither here nor there,

But what if we extend the logic of the power-prior-to-enfranchisement theory a bit further, to the point where institutions become veritable puppets for effectively private parties, with the official government's power being somewhat academic compared to the real power of said parties.

Not saying this is the way to go, just perhaps a useful thought experiment.

You have private individuals whose wealth is larger than a lot of nation states.

Then say you had a network of those individuals with common aims, and say they were of an ancient bloodline and could turn into reptiles? And say they were called The Illuminati?

Hey hey I certainly don't dismiss such possibilities, but I'm also trying to factor in the plausibility of actually getting a theory some traction. Along similar lines as a sort of hyperstitional effort would be, processing a possible reality into an actual reality.

Lotta room for rhetoric, but I also think its a skill that can be trained.

As I say what you choose to believe here can only be totally arbitrary so the game should be about the best speculation. That is, the most fun but also the most rigorously worked out and integrated

That certainly has its prospects, if it is to be embarked on with the required rigor.

But for me, part of the rigor is how much you are willing to indulge the vulgar, phenomenal realm. Enough to take science seriously? Yeah, I think thats the best way I can detect here, and I can argue the same, the other way around.

Depends. But you must never lose sight of the fact that the standards you are being held to are the highest standards of fiction (which always include rigour and consistency)

The consistency part trips me up. Do you mean consistently productive? Or consistent - static - in ones psychic expression?

I mean consistency between all the moving pieces. In the way the word might be used in relation to the marvel universe, how they aim for consistency along the single plane of their integrated universe
