this could either fly or flop, but either way - I've been hanging around these parts for what? a couple of years at least? and I've sometimes wondered what you geezers all look like.

what is more interesting, is that I've come up with imaginary mental pictures for everyone. the following is just off the top, in all probability completely off target, and I may have confused names with their proper mental images:

Woebot is an amiable lanky fellow of medium height, doesn't stand out in a crowd
Droid has dyed his hair reddish purple
Stalfox is tall and possibly hairy, 5 O'clock shadow at all times, work boots
John Eden does NOT have dreads but rather a crew cut
Sufi has light colored hair and eyes, and is also inconspicuous
Tate smokes a pipe and has a beard, wears gray sweaters
Gek looks like Mathew Barney (for obvious reasons)
Buick 6 is a picture perfect B-boy
mms has a nose ring (maybe) and looks subtlely, vaguely Goth
Bleep sports an asymetrical haircut (but hates indie-rock)
Labrat is skinny and talks fast
HMGovt may be a bit chunky
Gabba Flamenco Crossover is half Dutch and half Spanish
HELL_SD is punk rock (possible spiked up hair and piercings)
Melchior is a monk in a robe at all times
1981 has short hair and is a tom-boy
bassnation is also a B-boy
Infinite thought wears librarian's glasses (eccentric but chic)
and the late K-Punk must be a miserly little man who never smiles.

etc. etc.

sorry if I forgot to include you - I'm doing this without too much thought... picked names on each front page.

haha never been described as goth before how funny, i have cropped blonde hair and wear ordinary designerish clothes, rarely wear tshirts and prefer checked shirts, always wear lascoste white trainers. no piercings. try and look quite smart and a bit old fashioned in a grandad way.
some of these are close from the people i met though.

infinite, stelfox and k-punk aren't as you imagine, k-punk is very amiable and smiley.

Haha. This is hillarious. But I'm also sad you didn't do me. With a little searching you can find a photo of me and Mr. Bassnation on the internet (but I look a little different now). I've seen a photo of Mr. Eden and I don't think you're far off - short hair, glasses, jovial. Paul 2Stepfan looks like a very amiable fellow. I think Hell SD is all dready, or long-locked anyway, a bit crusty hippy. I'm very curious about IT. You might be close but missing the tall boots and Soviet paraphenalia. Because of his name I imagine Stelfox as looking like a cross between Wolverine and a fashionable but somewhat jaded dancehall and hip hop connoiseur (been through it all but not wearing the uniform). I've always been curious about mms, sufi and k-punk (who has a kindly speaking voice). Also curious about Matt B and adruu.

And there's nothing wrong with a bit of dandyism (Reminds me of a thread I was meaning to start)

I guess your name maybe wasn't on a front page for any of the sections - but those with photo-faces for icons kind of did themselves in as far as my mental pictures are concerned - Gek for instance - when I think of him I see Cremaster 3. and you... trying hard to not think of the photo... maybe on the pale side... of Russian descent? (I'm kind of just wildly stabbing in the dark)

so we agree that the dude is hairy. taller than wolverine though. I don't know about "fashionable" though, atleast not in the GQ sense. def not. he's all (un-stressed) denim and medium-fitting Ts. baseball cap backwards maybe.

Quite right about Stelfox - not GQ or anything but certainly with it enough to look like he knows what he doing but could care less what people think. Not sure about the ball cap.

I can't remember the Samurai pic but that could well be him.

The Soviet goth thing is just for (some) weekends...though I am naturally pretty pale (though not as pale as Owen - who is also a dandy btw). I'm not really tall enough to be a proper goth girl though, and my hair (though dyed blonde at the front) is too light.

I don't wear glasses, and certainly never to go out - though, y'know, I did have a pair, but I lost 'em ages ago - but I can see why you might want to perpetuate the geeky bespectacled lass thing...hmm...

Most of the time I wear vintage clothes with biker boots or vintage shoes. I look a bit like a cross between Justine Henin-Hardenne and Avril Lavigne (seriously). But what did mms make of me?! I'm bothered by the 'aren't as you'd imagine' comment....!

Stelfox looks cool - he has this excellent belt with his name on it and this manner of knowing what's what. K-punk is a lemur.

well i've met you once or twice very fleetingly and casually and i thought you seemed like quite a happy type, not moodygothy, but you seemed to wear stuff that's 'sophisticatedly off normal' if you get me, this is memory from a while ago when i was in a particulary weird mood though. what confucius said i guess, but i didn't know you from anyone really.
