Moodz by Matt IQ is great, heard it on Marcus Nasty a week ago. Will have to give that show a listen, eastwood, that last one you promoted I've been rinsing in the car for ages now

Bought the champion EP on HardDrive.

...

A side I really liked from mixes etc., but just sounds a bit unfinished. It ended and i was like... is that it? and then flipped the plate over and those 2 tracks are just a bit crap IMO.

Anyone else feel like this?

Wish I hadn't bought on sight haha!

^ I rate all 3 tunes on it, but Lose Control is the strongest stand-alone tune imo. Motherboard in particular sounds best in the mix for me, it gets a bit repetitive just to sit and listen to.

Love that EP, Lose Control invokes in me visions of mutants skanking it out on the streets of Chernobyl

edit:

really want LR Groove to release this

ahh, great. So many good tunes he's given away, I almost feel guilty for downloading them.

Spiralling is released on an Estonian label? I thought I was the only person in this country listening to funky

PLEASE someone ID this track from a Petchy show last year. I suspect its not a version of House Girls like it says, but I'm not really sure. Amazing track for MCs.

oh my fucking god the funkystepz tune just now

Love that Rhian Moore tune, Funkystepz on a mad ting right now, can't compare. Roska tunes aren't benefiting from this juxtaposition at all, are they?

^^sounding nice right now

edit: this show started off brilliantly, kind of fizzled out during the second half. Funkystepz and Champion worked well together but the Roska tunes sort of ruined the vibe for me. One or two were nice though

that's out & out garage that one isn't it, great remix, the original isn't half bad either

edit, in fact every mix off of that release is banging

it wasnt that good as a b2b set imo. the champion tunes all seemed really good though but it was a bit too inconsistent overall. no proper mixing flow/seamlessness to it. not compared to the ikonika and grl unit show in any case. THAT is how you do a b2b set.

Hehe I was about to post Into You as well, enjoying all the mixes but the og is prob the one for me. You can hear them all together here btw:

I enjoyed the show yesterday but agree that the first half was better than the second. This might just have been because the first hour contained more tunes that I hadn't heard before, lots of tasty new Funkystepz bits.
