Looks like there is more stuff to play with since the updgrade - check your User CP at the top of the forum.

Seems like people can upload pics and start their own little social groups. Feel free to have a play and let us know on this thread if it's useful!

Yeah it seems a bit weird. Plus I can't figure out how to invite people to join a group anyway.

I guess the one advantage is that each group has a dedicated image album, but it isn't like dissensus is clogged up with photos of us all down the pub / at plastic people anyway.

yeah i clicked on my profile the day of the upgrade and it told me what i was doing, how many times i'd done it, and who'd watched me. so i ran away and tried to look inconspicuous.

looks like there are some fun new things to play with though.

Yeah, if I'm reading it right there are loads of people who have looked at my profile and it lists the last ten - some of whom I've never heard of, weird. Or am I reading it wrong?

name+ means you are friends with someone.

name* means they are invisible, ha ha, but I think only the mods get to see that.

And yes, looks like people have been checking your profile

There is an invisibility mode which means your name doesn't show up on the front page when you are checking the forum.

Embedding youtube vids doesnt seem to work anymore.

Also - the minimise/close/maximise buttons up the top no longer work.

Any ideas?

I always thought those minimise buttons were stupid, as my browser has them on already.

I can't view youtube videos (embedded or not) at work, so I don't give a monkeys.



Others may care, however!

I liked the buttons. They were handy in cases of ambush by management. No biggie though.

Theres been some great youtube threads recently, so itd be a real shame to lose that functionality.

I also hate it on principle when things that did work or should work seem to be broken for no particular reason.

Yeah I do know what you mean - people can post links to youtube but it isn't the same.

Some things which weren't working before now are... um....
