see, nomadic tribes tend to live quite harmoniously with natural resources, and are usually forced to leave an area before they completely upset its ecosystems or exhaust all its resources

they don't have state-nation-al identities, but so fucking what?

right, but, how?

the only way I can envision anything like that happening is out of necessity & after some kind of mass die-off (to give those nomadic groups the space in which to be nomadic hunter-gatherers) & lots of horrifying stuff in general. which could very well be inevitable (if not immanent) but I'm not sure it's something to exactly be welcomed.

also - & I dunno enough about your take on the matter - I've found that a fair bit of that lauding of hunter-gatherers is idealized and/or romanticzied etc.

You're exactly right, I think that's humanity's last hope really. That what we're doing no will just stop working on a very large scale, industry and trade across global borders will be forced to a halt, and we'll have to abandon urbanization and globalization and find sustainable ways of living.

I don't romanticize nomadic living, I just think it's the only thing that makes sense in terms of long-term viability of the species. I don't think we need to retain the gender split between hunters and gatherers or anything like that.

Nikbee, would you say that this vocabulary - of Events, Ones, Twos, Truths, and so on - is more or less helpful for communication?

If you go to make an Event, it can be a number One or a number Two. And that's the Truth.

Edit: Oh come on you dicks, that was funny.

Dangerous Mystagogue
Radios laufen, Platten laufen,
Filme laufen, TV's laufen,
Reisen kaufen, Autos kaufen,
Häuser kaufen, Möbel kaufen.
Wofür?

Refrain:
Macht kaputt, was euch kaputt macht!
Macht kaputt, was euch kaputt macht!

Züge rollen, Dollars rollen,
Maschinen laufen, Menschen schuften,
Fabriken bauen, Maschinen bauen,
Motoren bauen, Kanonen bauen.
Für wen?

Refrain:

Bomber fliegen, Panzer rollen,
Polizisten schlagen, Soldaten fallen,
Die Chefs schützen, Die Aktien schützen,
Das Recht schützen, Den Staat schützen.
Vor uns!

Refrain:
Anmerkungen
Der Text dort lautete: "bombs are falling, tanks are rolling, soldiers dying, men are crying...".

Nope but human history is nearly over. Unless we evolve quickly to meet the demands we've placed on our ecosystems.
