Starcraft 2 is out, can't decide whether or not to buy it yet. Has anyone on here played it?

It looks really great, but with these games I always play through the first campaign, get halfway through the second, get bored/frustrated, and stop.

I go through phases in Fifa 10.

I'll kick arse for 3 or 4 games, then lose 3 or 4 games in a row by massive amounts.

Picked up Army of Two: 40th Day for £10 in Blockbuster. It's awful, but funny if you play with a friend in co-op.

Anyone got Limbo on XBL? Massively hyped, but I've seen complaints that it's relatively pricey and short.

No one's played Starcraft II yet? I haven't because as I previously mentioned I got into World of Warcraft recently and if I take this on board as well I will cease to get anything important done at all. I'm eager to hear the Dissensus review tho.

Have not played Starcraft II yet, but am drewling over it though. Cant wait to obtain a copy.

I am currently playing another great old game Thief II: The Metal Age.
Such a great game! but to get it installed on the new windows is a pain in the nuts. So much troubles to figure it out, but have managed it somehow.

As new as my computer is, it still cant handle some games, I have been trying to coax my computer to play Assassins : Creed, feels like the game has been made by William Burroughs fans.

The sequel is looking even more brain melting than the origonal, very much looking forward to this:

this is amazing!

mind bendingly amazing! everything about the portal game is amazing, the story (such a simple one) the graphics, the puzzle.

Aww Nein

just found out about this school through the portal 2 wikipedia page...

https://www.digipen.edu/studentprojects/tag/

looks like a college that features game design, but among the free games to download (made by students) is Narbacular Drop, which is the game that became portal so to speak, and this one called tag, which is being developed into all that repulsion gel stuff in portal 2.

other games are pretty interesting, all small and low on processor speed generally exploring quite unique or beautiful simple ideas

its good that gamings staying open to the more lofi stuff due to technology being more readily available, i think one of the things that holds a lot of people back from seeing gaming as a serious art form is that apparent lack of an underground, every visible game the equivalent of a hollywood blockbuster without the art house section.
