Really? No. From every time I listen/read Mala's words he seems oblivious to what's gone on in something he helped create. Not that he should feel like "THE DUBSTEP SCENE" is his to parent but... You know... I'd like him to be a little bit more involved. Because then you get this Skream/Benga tragedy, and I get the feeling that Mala's sitting in Pokes car going "I wonder why everyone got so mad?"..
yeah but they are friends, so for mala to try and tell then what to play or not invite them wouldnt be appropriate. maybe its better to leave it up to skream and benga to make their own mind up about whether it was a mistake or not after the reaction they got?
personally i really dislike the stuff skream and benga are playing but in fairness there is another room to cater for different tastes
and on a musical level i think mala is still representing the original dubstep vibe - look at deep medi - maybe he's just happy to do his own thing without taking on the role as a leader of "true dubstep" - also god knows he might have enjoyed skream and bengas set
