I think they're a fairly new station. They got Dubplate Borris on the roster too but I haven't heard of any of the other DJs on there before. Been pretty good whenever I've bothered to tune in though.

sounds ok to me, you getting drop outs?. He's been killing it with some Devine Collective dubs the last few. Pretty relentless fast mixing style...I like it. I think he said he's got another show on Fridays 8-10 where he just plays hard instrumental stuff, I'll definitely be checking that out. I'm recording so I'll up this show for you all at some point, see what you think.

It was fine at first but then I started getting these odd drop outs every few seconds or so, kind of sounded like a cd skipping. Minor nuisance at first, which got gradually more annoying.
Although props definitely go out to this guy's mixing, seemed so effortless. And fun

Bloody hell, the bassline on 'Hell of House' once it drops is a killer.
Carnao is def doing some of the most interesting stuff at the 'uk deep house' end of things.

About that Naughty/Fire track: I was really looking forward to the collab after she announced it but when I first heard the track I was kind of overwhelmed, and not in a good way. It started sounding a bit more coherent by the second listen but I'm still not very sure about it. I LOVE the vocal, but I feel like it needs more air to breathe, right now the whole thing seems a bit congested. At one point it almost sounds like somebody's trying to mix in Goosebumps

Yeah, other than 'Ricochet' I don't like R1 Ryders at all. Its just 'funkstep' innit, right down to the 140 tempos, and therefore should be stamped out.
I won't be able to tune in (going to see Ill Blu!) but would be nice if someone recorded madfingers on Feeling Mandy FM 8-10pm this Friday, I've a feeling it'll be good.

Tonight was a fun one, really glad you tuned in Rivero.
I totally hear what people are saying about R1 Ryders, prob about half of there stuff doesn't really click with me, but for whatever reason I liked that vocal, esp the 'Pack Your Bags Refix' of it. Agree with Ory about Karni4 being one of their stronger ones too.
Glad people are feeling that new Illmana anyway.

I had a wee listen for a while too Andy. Good round up of recent stuff, nice one. Love that Paul Woolford mix of heartbeat, first time I'd heard it. I'm a big fan of the original mix actually. Never liked the Mosca mix that everyone spunked about (predictably enough).

Yeah 'congested' is a good word for it I think, there's so much squeezed into it and I'm not sure if it all fits together, may grow on me though. Does seem to have the Goosebumps bassline in there towards the end.
Is that download for Playground legit? Not saying that to wag the finger at you/Tim, just don't want to start using it on radio/in mixes and then get someone moaning at me later on. Big tune anyway obv, love that cheeky synth line that runs behind the chorus.
About to give that new Champion one a listen now.
