almost an hour in and hes finally admitted all science is bollocks and the large hadron collider has proved it, at great expence. i could have told them that for free.

I think the large hadron collider is maybe the greatest feat of human engineering ever, rivaled only by LIGO and maybe some existing tokamaks. When iter is finished, that will probably take the cake.

LHC is among the few sites I actually feel compelled to visit.

We get to probe sub-subatomic particles because of LHC and the likes thereof. Perhaps the pinnacle of scientific inquiry, or at least close to it.
