i was just so insanely tired after that winter. chest infections. waking up at 2.30am, scotch and coffee for breakfast, cycle through the ice to a ten hour shift.

um, this year for the first time i have felt a bit like that weirdly, cos i took the whole winter off on the boats but yesterday for the first time they were really annoying me. maybe i was just in a funny mood but this whole summer the vibe has been off. its a moody summer in the uk

You need to get an oblique strategy deck. And start tabbooing words. Each day you use a word and say "I've used that too much" you strike it off the list. Can't use it anymore.

yeah but u just cant be fucked gus. its relentless at times. can you imagine a crowd of euro teens and they all want a poem for their mum whos done a lot for them

They have some bars that are "Nasdaq bars" where if everyone orders a certain drink, the price keeps going up. Maybe you need that for themes. "No, I've done four of those this week already, it'll be at least fifty quid."

You can have a chalkboard with all the banned subjects for the day scrawled out

im just trying to make people happy.

its not about me. but it is hard to keep it fresh when youve been doing it as long as i have. i do do good work, here and there, given the parameters. its not a lot you can do in 3 minutes but im quite clever and good with words etc i understand emotions and people and how they understand their lives.
