to my surprise, i really like the new busta rhymes album. its not perfect, but i forgot just how great busta was/is.

You're from Boston? So what's the word? Did Benzino call any fire on Obie Trice and Proof? Or was it coincidence that he gets fired and then Em's friends start gettin shot?

One of my cousins is Twice Thou aka E. Devious of the former Almighty R.S.O./Made Men crew and owner of Antonio Ansaldi Gear (leather goods for celebrities, athletes and wardrobe for films "Shaft"). He was in those groups with Benzino BEFORE he was ousted for being a bastard. He doesn't have the power to effect what people do in Detroit...Detroit's just a violent spot in general...even Bizarre's WIFE got shot recently...Benzino's wack ass had ZERO to do with it. One.

Thought as much man but y'know, I'm in London! All we get is viral press, just wanted to hear from someone out there, y'know? All I can get is media media and I'm never sure what's goin on with what, especially nowadays. What d'yer think of the Source now?

I'm STILL not sold on The Source as a serious hip hop publication as of right now. I'd rather read Mass Appeal, The Ave, XXL, Vibe, Elemental, Insomniac, Scratch, Don Diva or HHC. I prefer serious hip hop news...underground hip hop news. I get a lot of it through online sources. One.

yeah benzino basically raped the credibility of the source. He even gave himself a 'hiphop quotable' for fucks sake. Combined with his extremely ill fated beef with the most famous outfit in hiphop, it was a wrap a long time ago for both him and the mag.

is the best track I've heard hiphop-wise in ages. Masta Ace is a beast on the mic, always has been.
