Pretty fantastic 'loefah-esque' vibes on this one...
excited to hear some more stuff from this guy.
anyone got any info on who he is, where he's from, etc?
Taken from Boomkat:
Nope, it's not the doyle in the hat, it's Berlin's dubstep souljah dropping a debut pair of productions for his own Version imprint. Orson has been Berlin's dubstep ambassador pretty much since day dot, heavily influencing the city's tastes with the Version club nights.
The Double Helix LHF remix of Ca.tter is sounding hot too: http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/servlet/Info?Track=DSQ005 on that deep original dubstep sort of tip.
saw shakleton last night do an amazing set, heard he had really upped his game ( wasn't toally convinced remember seeing him a few years go on vinyl and it was pretty poor) but this was really deep involving stuff.
£2? you'd have to be a right prick not to go, shack is unstoppable live.yeah can really vouch for this, puts on a great show these days. brighton heads catch him at life tomorrow (monday) night, £2 before 12.
so who is going to provide the requisite 'nuum justification for the shift to higher tempos, real or imagined?

Following on from that, if halfstep's already been done it's not likely that producers are going to shift towards stripping beats out again, so higher tempos are the logical choice.
