I'll get Tameil to get on dissensus, and explain the history of it. If you guys don't know Tameil, he explained to me he was the first and one of the only persons to actually get authorized, yes I said authorized, to make club music outside of baltimore by baltimore club dj's. But long story short, Jersey is as much a hub of mixed cultures as Chicago, New York, or London. In fact, they're at an interesting crossroads between Chicago house, Bmore club, and New York....whatever the hell is goin on in New York. They used to be much more Chicago house focused, but after the death of Dancemania, they pretty much went 100% baltimore, and after that, went wayyyy into it's own thing. Thats why Tameil's stuff sounds a much closer to the Baltimore style compared to the next gen producers like Tiga, and Jayhood. BTW, Jayhood created a subgenre of Jersey Club called "Booty Bounce"(?) I'm not 100% on that, but yeah, it's highlighted by the long breakdowns of just bass and a hooks. Like I said, Tameil!!! And yeah, for self-promo purposes:
