The Burial is a weird one in that it somehow sounds much slower than most jungle tunes. Almost laid back.

i suppose that might be where it misses. me and version grew up in a world where soul didn't exist. everything it embodies is completely lost on us. lost in temporal translation.

I like that stuff a lot although I don't care about Tom and jerry really and they are pretty heavy on the rare groove do you like them?

I like Tom & Jerry. The problem isn't the influence of soul or rare groove. The Burial's just a terrible tune.

that's probably true.

luke, you know when you were saying that gully vs gaza era dancehall sounded really rubbish and you wanted big fuck off casinos and fake boobs and all that. burial has that quality to it.
