Feel like this is a slightly "anti-Barty" selection, but maybe that's just me. Like, I don't feel they really match this description:

There's still plenty of that sound knocking about, but I do feel things have evolved in a different direction in the last year or so - bouncier, more agile drums, more vocal-like synth sounds. I wonder if the reason the sound you talk about still persists is a consequence of the type beats thing - producers will keep operating in a certain lane even as new ones open up, and that's why production-wise you have a few different strands in drill, with some persisting long after they took off. Maybe the different styles in grime, say, waxed and waned a bit more?

I quite like the tune tbh, but I couldn't help noticing it was nerdier than the other stuff.

I've never seen people typing in that slangy, shorthand way on Reddit before, or using British slang.

E.G. "was good but icl nitonb is top for me cb 2nd but very close gap"

Looks similar to Chiraqology, although that is next level in terms of idolising murderers and investigating crimes.
