Frogs always looks spotlessly clean even when they're living in toilets

i used to drive this small path trough the forest to reach high school and there'd always be one week in the year where the entire path would be filled with frogs trying to go from one side of the road to the other. lot's of dead ones hit by cars and other machines. always made me feel sad and also i never understood why they just stayed at one side of the road.

Snowdrops are out, daffs are out. Buds on the branches. We're getting there. Doesn't feel like spring here though it's right miserable.

I went out for my walk and it really felt quite mad, ten degrees warmer and a kind of volatile and febrile energy demented Spring feeling where the energy levels go up suddenly

On my rides today I saw a beautiful sparrowhawk and a kestrel in the space of about a minute. They might be relatively common these days but there’s still something awe inspiring about them.
