Because you can never criticise them. Oasis is a bit like that. Primal postmodern kitsch elevated to seismic proportions. Noone can criticise an oasis fan without looking like an absolute scrugelike cunt.

You can't be a fan of oasis if you want to be part of the revolution, all oasis supporters are de facto sanctioned to be hung, drawn and quartered for exciting base and primitive impulses in their middle class journo colleagues.

TBF though, the lost tapes that mute released in 2012 was class. But yeah after '73 they'd exhausted themselves.

They have some moments after Future Days, but yeah - diminishing returns. The crapness of the albums are in proportion to how cringe the pun titles are: Saw Delight; Rite Time...

'Dont say no' is the big one off that album. good song. Sunshine day and night is also a good song. listening to Call Me now.

I relistened to all of Saw Delight and reaffirmed my original position. Call me is probably the only song I would skip. The reaction against it is probably due to it being a bit kitsch- disco rhythms and melodies, arabian nights and other world influences, easy listening- and that not jiving with the mythos of one of the canonical Cool Rock Bands.
