theres a lady in a wheelchair that wheels herself to the pier and threatens to roll herself in and you have to say, dont do that love. its a macho job and i am a very macho man so in that sense it suits me but the hours are pretty punishing.

had a dream this morning that I was taking a train from Warsaw to my hometown.
I was bothering the train attendant to confirm the destination is what I think it is, while I got a text from Luke.
I looked around and I spotted a tired, drunken sailor a couple seats behind of me, but that wasn't Luke.
To my surprise, he was several seats ahead, with his beard cut and a heavily fatigued face.
When we got off, I think it must have been a warm and sunny Portugese afternoon. Good, considering I lost my winter coat earlier in the dream.
We walked towards a nearby corner where there was some coffee shop, two young ladies standing in front of it waved to Luke, as if they know him.
Coming up closer, I heard one of them take a drag of her cigarette and say "I have only had smoked two of these today, nicotine really makes me high" (no idea).
I think the nicotine wasn't the issue as she was drinking a pink(?) margherita. Looked fancy and expensive.
While Luke went in to get a coffee, I stayed around to entertain.

I bet you have a strong urge to call her bluff every time.

ive been doing it almost 3 months. im reasonably good at it. the views are incredible. up and down the thames. look back at the isle of dogs from behind the thames barrier. fog over the river. stars winking. barking riverside. i went to tilbury.
This used to be my dream job, for a bit. Does the captain give a commentary on your boat? City Cruises skipper did that.
"and here we have the Prospect of Whitby, part-owned by Sir Iain Mckellan... "

will you drop the sailing for poetry when it brightens up a bit? i'd imagine it might be more pleasant doing it in spring
