yeah that's one of the few on that list that stuck in my mind, they spent millions on fx that you could do on a pc just a couple of years later

yeah, started in 1981 but they were still showing music videos through the 90s. we must have at least some 40-year olds here.

To be fair, some of 'Toxic' was shot in space. Black-hair Britney was worth it, anyway.

Think there was some serious money laundering going on with the MC Hammer vid. And $1 mil of the Mariah Carey vid cost was getting her to show up.
