just a few write ups of under-heralded classics. i'm going to start blogging more although i don't know why.

i hope you guys noticed blissblogger described this as "a god tier display of close listening, penned by a genius" on his main blog.

model 500 is so good. I guess this is known by all but me though
90s juan aktins >>>> other music. that model 500 album should get more recognition, not necessarily for being innovative so much as just for being really fucking good. the sonic sunset ep from around the same time with a 20 minute version of "i wanna be there" is the best thing he ever did. and again, no one talks about it for some reason.

yeah i really do think spending a decent time on something like that, when you could've put an equivalent effort into something that might actually interest people, is proof of a very deep-seated self sabotage instinct. you might have a bit of the same affliction.

craner is right. and let's face it you're not about to do either of those things so you will have to follow your creative muse. mine has taken me into the streets, writing doggeral for american tourists and going home with a pocket full of greasy banknotes. its not ideal in every way. but at least its my thing and i didnt do anything that made me feel sick. and im the greatest poet of the age. so if its good enough for me its good enough for you.
