I'm beginning to curate films and cocktails for the house. We watched A Scanner Darkly last night, and the previous night I made sazeracs.

is everybody in the co-living getting along with each other? or do you think there is also rivalry, hate and jealousy? you're new in the co-living and already you have taken the stage organizing film evenings, some of the elders might be getting nerveous no?

Oh I haven't read the book - haven't read any PKD actually. But I like the film, seen it 4 times now, just a linklater fan in general.

I also engage in what I call "bureaumancy" in a professional capacity, i.e. the conjuring forward of bureaucratic and organizational assemblages, via a combination of socialware, software, and legalese.

But yeah people here get along, and are generally quite conscientious of each other and give each other space. Its also nice, as someone new to San Francisco, that I basically am dropped into a very active social hub. Multiple events here per week, with three distinct social milieus overlapping (SF commune scene, TPOT, and Foresight Institutes impact futurist scene) with this house being the nexus.
