I keep hearing more and more Traumprinz tunes I like. I guess I'm also realising that he's a bit of a one-trick pony - a mellow but somehow still snapping drum break repeated again and again, an unexpected vocal sample and then a few elements like hi-hats or something that build it up a bit over about ten minutes and that's it - but I like the trick.

Haven't heard this one for a while but it popped up in my feed for some reason, still rocks to me

I bought my best friend a power drill last month for her birthday and one of her friends immediately said 'what's it called when you drill a hole in your forehead? I really want to do that, can I borrow the power drill that Bill just bought you, the handheld device I have just won't do" and I had to tell her "it is called TREPANATION" and JULIE FELIX sang the anthem

BLOOD BRAIN VOLUME!

BLOOD BRAIN VOLUME!

The founder of the trepanation movement is a Dutch savant, Dr Bart Hughes.
By liberating his brain from its total imprisonment in his skull, he claimed to have restored its pulsations, increased the volume of blood in it and acquired a more complete, satisfying state of consciousness than grown-up people normally enjoy. The medical and legal authorities reacted to Huges's discovery with horror and rewarded him with a spell in a Dutch lunatic asylum.

An important convert was Julie Felix. She was eager to promote the doctrine of trepanation and recorded some of the propaganda songs which British convert Joey Mellen had composed, including Brainbloodvolume, The Great Brain Robbery and Sugarlack.
