Don't listen to shaka Morocco is fucking boss. I spent nearly half a year there and fkn loved it. Almost stayed there for good. Some of the coolest people you're likely to meet. So many breathtaking landscapes and diverse climates. You can meet hash farmers who will let you make your own hash and it's cheap af. Insane music. I can point you to some pretty amazing spots for live music and I even know a secret locals only electronic club in the Fez Medina. It's also pretty damn safe compared to a lot of the other suggestions.

I really liked Morocco but we were only there for a couple of weeks, fairly standard tourist stuff. But just loved the buildings, those little swimming pools in cool courtyards shaded by lemon trees etc also some wicked food, just walking through the medina and seeing people grilling skewers of little pieces of meat and chicken hearts I think. They were small but so lovely and we just kept saying "gimme a couple more.... gimme one more, no three.... gimme some more etc".

Last trip in the states is also in severe need of a writeup. Prolly more than all my other travels. Just so much packed into it. Went basically to see it before and after the inauguration, knowing that something will change in a serious, historic way and I just so happened to be in LA most of the time, like when the fires went down so the vibes were about as apocalyptic as it gets. So much that has mystified me about the States now makes perfect sense having been there. Absolutely loved it, warts n all.

That's the stuff. And those Riads don't even cost that much. Well they can, but they can also be cheap as chips. So much vibey architecture and aesthetics there. Lot of bohemian vibes baked in from a western pov. Presumably because that stuff was so heavily adopted by the hippies. Anyway, amazing place.
