I know this is obvious but

When you think about how difficult/risky it must be to kill someone and get away with it, even back in the 70s, say, it makes you realise just how much these psychos must LOVE killing people.

Imagine a drug that had such a great buzz that you risked life imprisonment every time you did it.

I gather that most people will react to killing somebody (even an enemy combatant in war) with severe PTSD. Killing makes most people feel horrible. I guess that exists for a very good reason, to stop us all killing each other because it's such a massive buzz.

As for the school shooter, I've noticed that a fair few of these guys now are autistic, not sure what the connection there is. I suppose it could easily contribute to social isolation and in some cases erode empathy.

This guy is worth reading about though he thought he was going to kill himself after massacring infants and be united in death with a character from the walking dead video game.

And you think I talk rubbish when I've done some coke

It's a bit like when I used to go to drum n bass raves and take five pills

Every other day in the week was rubbish by comparison with the intensity of the clipz handgrenade remix going off while me and dizasta brocked out under the balcony

So how is the rest of ted bundys life going to measure up to murdering some poor woman and having sex with her corpse?

Even vert ramp skateboarding is going to appear a little mundane after that

There's a Stephen Graham drama getting rave reviews atm about a boy who stabs a girl at his school to death after going down the manosphere pipeline, unbeknownst to his parents. Seems a bit on the nose, but perhaps it's necessary given the current climate.

Yeah I watched this, it's pretty good although there are cringeworthy bits where they talk about emojis and Andrew Tate etc (is that cringeworthy though or just accurate?)

Stephen Graham is the best actor around other than Ken Branagh

Yours sincerely,

I think even still fairly easy to kill someone with just a little foresight and discipline. Luigi killed a billionaire in public and only got caught cause he was hanging out in a mf Donald's without a mask on with the murder weapon still on him

No doubt easier in the US than here - availability of guns, much bigger country with much lower population density, not so much CCTV.

Edit: apparently I'm wrong about the CCTV. Maybe it's changed. The UK was once called the most surveilled country outside China.

Can turn naughty
The "UK is most surveilled" claim was going on before all the smart devices like rings etc and gopros in the windshield etc. Austerity over there means shoplifting and petty crime is through the roof so it's probably worse than the UK or at least on par CCTVwise

Good one for the aesthetics thread. "Yeah, misogynistic knife crime is bad but there's a couple of cringe bits in this drama attempting to tackle it."

It lost me a few times, here and there, with its dialogue and performances—and I feel duty bound as a renowned cultural maven to maintain my reputation by pointing out that I was aware of them before recommending it
