i dont think there was much discussion in this thread tbh, more jumping to conclusions and self righteous accusations.
It doesn't seem like the label is going to lose any sleep over it.

yeah well myself i was grossly offended those young twerps should realise the error of their ways is all....![]()
this thread is absolutely ridiculous considering the amount of people on this board who like death in june, throbbing gristle or even joy division / new order.
T
b) A number of other people will perceive the imagery in the same way. Whether or not the label is bothered by this is up to them.

i would say that the bands mentioned above appropriation of fascist imagery is different from something like this dubstep 12. they each had an agenda, and the content (lyrics, in the case of J.D., melodies, in case of D.I.J. and just absurdist art pranks in case of T.G.) engaged with the imagery in critical or atleast thoughtful manners.
take Laibach for example. it is conceptual theater. they do it so over the top that no one can take them seriously - the vid of SS officer singing while holding a lamb for instance. that ridiculous voice... (although they may have taken it too far on was it the last album, with actually a song named "Anti-Semitism")
where as something like this (which in reality is not much more than a WTF to even those who do notice) does not engage with the imagery / words on any level other than surface value, which is more dangerous / likely to be read as straight forward right wing rascist propaganda.
The deviants for this work of destruction are Bristol's White Boi & Komonasmuk
To be fair to them, they did skip #18 as promised.
Still think the imagery was terrible though. Missed that "maybe you should study chinese culture instead of neonazis" comment. I mean was reading the Tao Te Ching in the mid 80s but whatever.
This is another good example of someone innocently coming here to promote their business and getting more than they bargained for which is always good to see.
