Looking forward to the Gunplay, hopefully will get a chance to listen to it tomorrow.

I've been listening to Big KRIT's latest mixtape today and its very good. Not particularly banging but it definitely grows on you. It sort of reminds me of that recent Common album, only much less pompous and dull.


His cover art is always great, too.

Listening to this ''Stay Schemin'' freestyle - Gunplay is so good. His mic presence / energy alone sets him apart... dominates beats.

I think from MMG him, Ross and Meek Mill are all ace. Everyone else is a bit average. I reckon those three could make a great group album together, though.

There's a whole bunch of kids coming up now making this kind of stuff, isn't there? It's a sound that could have come out when they were less than 5 years old.

This track wouldn't have been out of place on an Eddie Ill and DL tape or whatever.

He's got a free Bandcamp release called 1993. I thought maybe it was just a reference to the general throwback sound, but then I realised it's probably also the year he was born:

Have we talked about Chief Keef in this thread already?

I love this track & also the fact that it's apparently a genuine regional hit as opposed to it being an internet hype thing, which is refreshing I think.

Great video too.

I like this one as well, maybe not as much-

The new Chief Keef tape is quite good I think.

Don't really understand what he's on about sometimes, flow is a bit spotty as well, but the beats are great and there's loads of gunshots and hat rolls. Really good.
