Came out on vinyl with a Nasty Jack vocal back in 2006.

I've played it out a lot. It's a great crossover tune. Never really seen much mention of it before.

that and 'girls luv nasty' (here) were the sound of that summer :) - bok bok has them both in his 'helium mix' from that year i think

par definitely doesn't mean good enough. Not as in "up to par".

I couldn't give you a straight definition but it's a negative thing.

If you got parred, you're not happy about it. If "it's a par" it's not good. As I read it can mean diss, ignore, long off etc. Seems like a pretty flexible bit of slang tho which is why I wouldn't give a hard definition. I've heard it in grime circles for about two years now and I think the more popular it gets the more meanings and uses its taking on.

The urban dictionary is about as vague as I am on this.

yeah i understand what he is saying when he says it, but i was just wondering if there was any rule to the use of the word because it seems totally flexible

i like the word but am reluctant to appropriate it into my own arsenal of slang unless i know im not making a hash of it, its a par tho - can get in on that one

the sway tune might be i luv u ish but i think its okay to like a back n forth girl-boy-FIGHT tune without having to say its just a rip off of i luv u. its just a great record. love it. better than rolex sweep any day :p
