A revisit to the King Midas Sound Fact mix from a while back. There needs to be more mixes like this. Different tempos, time periods and styles but all forming a cohesive listen. Great stuff.

Word - that mix is fantastic, late night lovers style or early Sun morning after a session -

I agree, more mixes with more variety like this would be great, I haven't heard the album yet, any good?

Enjoying the new LCD Soundsystem album although I haven't quite absorbed it yet. Very Brian Eno (even more than usual).

Revisiting the Gil Scott Heron album, which is a little thin but the good stuff - especially Me & The Devil - is very very good.

and some ace soul / R&B - Betty Wright Live, the Big Maybelle Okeh sessions, that kinda thing..

Some nice synth jams on that. Is it me or does FACT Magazine get a namecheck?
This Roots of Trance mix is really good.

Make sure you read the accompanying piece first!
This was interesting. Maybe the articles more than the mix, which I haven't actually managed to listen through all the way. New Beat and EBM basically isn't it.

Aye, there was an article about it a month or so ago, near the time when the tracklist was released. Good album from Murphy once again, but not great like Sound Of Silver. The way the synths kick in on that first track is excellent though, it's a total LCD tour de force. A few too many annoying shouty tracks on the album for me though, wouldn't be a problem on a normal full length, but This Is Happening is only 9 bloody tracks.

Currently rediscovering Cassius's '1999', some really good tracks on there that still sound fresh over a decade after their release. La Mouche has some good percussion going on in a Soca/Funky kind of way, Crazy Legs is a lovely ode to both Metroplex style electro and more breakdance style electro (can't think of a better term for this, but I mean stuff like Al Naayfish etc), Feeling For You is still amazing after all these years, and contrary to what I thought when I was younger, is much better than the Les Rythmes Digitales remix, really densely layered with lots of different sounds going on, and much more interesting production than the LRD remix. The 1999 remix is a banger too. If you have an affinity for that era of French house, I reckon it's one album definitely worth revisiting, it's quite in key with the current garage resurgence so I'm surprised I've not heard any of the tracks being thrown in to mixes lately.
