90s - the decade of MUSIC DELUSION

TF did one great song about Kylie having a crush them, perhaps it was in a John Peel session. Surely the 90s delusion is the formation of the mainstream story of grunge vs britpop, like nothing else interesting happened :slanted:

he's not hit the target there at all, about 6-7 yrs ago you could say that the there was shit tekno associated with k at free parties. Nowt to do with this neu-wonky though. There's also wonky tekno which has some gems which again has a bit of a connection with K but that was years ago.

    Metal Machine Music

    Metal Machine Music

It sounds pretty harmonic to me and that's the link with Cale and ultimately La Monte Young, but it goes onto be alot more noisy & dissonant. Is this the first 'noise' record or did someone do something before this ? Maybe that's why it's of note rather than it being a great record.

    Endless Rush: UK Hardcore 1992-1994

I agree, nice mix but it's been revered many a time. Some of my favourite bits of old vinyl are from that era, The wild inspiration of the tracks and the meeting of dancefloors with the new technology is incredible.
