    Best First Lines

What we're gonna do right here is go back, way back, back into time.

    1991

Not digging too deep but a favourite late 1991 'anthem' as played by Doc Scott among others.

    Ever give your stuff away?

Most of them are similarly dodgy Drum and Bass and so not worth much, but he's had a look through and said he'll enjoy spending a day listening through them.

    Ever give your stuff away?

Ever give stuff to mates and expect nothing in return? That's what I'm doing with my records this evening, as they've been in the loft for 10 years now. I'm gonna take them to a mates house who still has decks, I've warned him they might blow a hole in his speaker though.

    Jungle

Here's a provisional tracklist for a mix I'm working on tonight. Any requests for the next few tracks? As I've found Jungle is the easiest music to mix, despite the scattergun drums, or maybe because of. Koda - The Deep Skanna - All You Wanted Urban Jungle - Back In the Days Jonny L - Sam FBD...

    cigars

I smoke Signature Minis formally known as Cafe Creme everyday, or even Moments as they're cheap. Then I haven't for a while but the occasional La Invicta when I feel like it and a Romeo y Julieta on special occasions.

    the horns in UK garage

I could never nail this sound, probably as I don't listen to enough garage, but the way I tried was chopping up horn samples like a break and mapping it to different sampler keys.

    Film Noir

I could try to think of a list and post it soon but it will be nothing special. It is kind of true I did most of my watching on YouTube, you just find curiosities that way, as most of them are the same anyway and it became more about the mood of falling asleep watching them. Some of the ones...

    Favourite Chicago/Acid House Tracks

There's one that Omar S played in a set that's not Armando - 151. He virtually nicked the bassline from it for one of his tracks, and I spent a good hour looking for it earlier, through Trax discography as I'm sure it's on that, but couldn't find it.

    Gene Hackman

One of my favourites but been in some bad films as well as the good. The one I will rewatch is Eureka, as I can't remember if it's good or not.

    Choon of the Day, redux

Last track in my latest mix.

    Americanisation of the English Right

I've noticed conservatives who align themselves with either Reform or the traditional Tory party have taken to distancing themselves from Trump. Just what I read online, not politicians themselves, but forum commentators, who hate Trump. Don't ask me why. I think it's to do with the stuff...

    Can't Mix Won't Mix

My best mixes so far are Good HouseKeeping and Techno Anthems, this one's not so beat perfect, but a roughly put together ghetto 'ish' house mini mix of 24 minutes (13 tracks) for your Sunday listening.
