weird isn't it, my sister was recommended the midori takada and mort garson and she is in no way into anything like that. those records are now popular (on youtube) in a way they would never have been when they were made, interesting because they are impossible to get otherwise.

yep, stellar record. i saw that on vinyl and thought it too expensive, now it goes for three times as much on discogs! crazy prices on all this stuff, unfortunately.

i highly recommend osorezan / doh no kembai which was reissued last year, memorable (blood curdling) start followed by amon düül-ish improv plus balinese-style thing on the flip, incoherent but powerful stuff!

in fairness this was on new years eve with some americans i bumped into in search of a drink, when challenged they darted off as is the fashion now among the tolerant left. hongkongers on the other hand i suspect like trump for standing up to china on the south china sea and taiwan issues.
