    Just taking a little survey...

Haha it seemed a baffling question! You might want to edit the original to make it a little clear. I've listened to your show on occassion. I have never listened to satellite radio.

Is this mixed or is it just a straight comp?

    Dancehall producers

Dancehall producers are def. known. Lenky, Vendetta, South Rakkas, Ward 21/Jammy, Steely & Clevie are all pretty instantly recognizeable sonically and people def. look for their 7" labels. But still it is basically it is a deejay driven business right now (last year a slight aberration as...

    Statik Connected 3xLP

See the only thing that makes most hip-hop albums tolerable to me are posse cuts. There is almost no one I want to hear right now rapping alone for 80 minutes. Obv this doesn't apply to the Statik record since he is the constant there, not any one voice. Still the only bummer about this...

    Statik Connected 3xLP

Also "Sidewinder" isn't even on the Statik record (and Statik isn't on it anyway) so I have no idea what you are talking about. Have you even heard Connected's multitude of posse cuts or are you just convinced they are all lame unrelated medleys cuz ya know that's what "all posse cuts" are like?

    Statik Connected 3xLP

Yeah, knee-jerk not making posse cuts is so much more creative that knee-jerk making posse cuts. Fabulous.

    Statik Connected 3xLP

There is a solo-D Double track on the LP, the Demon & Ghetto duet and the Marcus Nasty spoken piece (plus 4 or 5 instrumentals.) The CD omits the solo D Double track, but adds a Demon solo track, a Gemma Fox and Ears duet, a Dillusion solo track and a bonus JME solo track. Both versions have 5...

    Statik Connected 3xLP

How did this drop so far under the radar? Best grime album of the year, maybe the best non-RTR/non-Dizzee grime record ever. Shame the CD doesn't have "Superdoop" on it, but seriously everyone should buy this anyway. I'm so sad this got so few mentions here and on ILM.

    jamaican jungle?

Yes that Ninjaman/Steely & Cleevie track is the one I was thinking of. That's great!

    jamaican jungle?

Rebel MC is Congo Natty/Michael West/et all. I like the New Blood/Ridley Don mixes, in fact, "Build Me 3 Coffins" is probably my favorite of all these mixes and the Jungle version of "Here I Come" is quite good. I don't think any of the remixers is Jamaican either way. There is a Steely &...

OMM so very very wrong about Sean Paul

Eh I was mostly worried that Atlantic might go overboard on weak crossover tracks. It's happened a few times (*cough* Bounty Killer *cough*.)

OMM so very very wrong about Sean Paul

So is there a release date for this record? I was under the impression that this had been shelved indefinitely for the moment. The OMM review makes it sound it much better than I thought it would have been actually.
