    Against all oddz...

Hmm... I'm quite looking forward to hearing this album. I have heard a couple of the Dexplicit beats and they're tight. I heard Plasticman did a beat for it too. Maybe ask him what made him choose to work with the producers he worked with on the album?

    FWD Last night

Wow... What a great night, Geeneus & Slimzee were joined by Riko, Sier, Dogzilla and Crazy D - was really vibezin in there for that set... But the maddest part of the night was seeing Jammer and Skepta going sick over Youngsta's dubstep set. Very different and very much a welcomed change to...

    outraygeous in the mixa

Yeah I like Alias too. Problem is, they always use the same rinsed sounds in every production, where plastic has more variation in his tracks.

Skream - Late Nite Request Line

How amazing is this track? Any idea on a release date for this one?

    The NEW Rinse schedule!!!!

Fridays... 7-9 Mac 10 9-11 Plasticman Is it just me or do you think this was purposely done so these two heavyweights of the grime circuit can battle it out? Regardless of whether it was or wasn't, that is 4 hours of grime bliss on Rinse. Total respect to the management.

    Distinction Reppin' It: Pic Inside!

Yeah he kinda went a bit mad though!!! I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but his profile has been deleted on RWD Forum, maybe he's chucked in the towel!

    L-man - Facts of life

I love this guy - this mixtape / album sampler is wicked! Who else saw him @ DMZ? He MC'd on Plasticman's set and really blew me away - nice slow interesting flows and lyrics.

    dizz on houston radio

OK can somebody help me out?! On this recording, what is the name of that track they play - it's the first track they play when the freestyles start and Dizzee drops "heartbreak kid like Shawn Michaels". Some sick southside beat with a slow violin over the top.

    Oooh you handsome devil!

So who would make "the grime boyband" ?

Unbelievable : le grime débarque à Paris !

I caught Plasticman amongst the Rephlex disco assault system at last year's Nordik Impakt festival in Cannes. (I must add I didn't know what he was playing at the time, being pretty non educated on the grime front then). It seemed to go down really well there I'm sure Jammer's hype will send...

    Pow! Forward 3

This is awful, I expect to hear a few of these kind of things over the next few months after "Trim Monkey" seemingly got a bit of love out of his attempt.

In 20 years time when we look back...

Do you think we'll be talking about grime because of the music which was being spat over or the way the mc's portray themselves on the mic? When you look back to early rap I can't help but listen to how different the music is rather than the rapping. All that electro and lush sampling.

Jammer, D Double E and Ears spitting over Swishahouse in NYC - VIDEO!!!

D Double...... Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!! That was great!!! Thankyou. Is the cameraman in shot shooting footage for Lord Of The Mics?

Have you ever heard something so good it made you cry?

No I meant DJ's always hold memories of playing a track in their sets and actually spotting somebody crying in the audience. I've read a couple of articles over the years - I can't remember who they were though!

Have you ever heard something so good it made you cry?

I'm glad this thread got love! Some really great tales there. I have been moved close to tears once. Heard Jamiroquai play "Didjital Vibrations" live. I used to listen to it nearly every night on my cd walkman to send me to sleep - the digeridoo in the rainforest atmosphere, beautifully...

Have you ever heard something so good it made you cry?

I always hear stories from top DJ's who say they like to spot people crying when they play an awesome track - but have you ever heard something so deep it made you cry?

    MC Purple - info anyone?

I was extremely impressed with this guy when I heard him on the John Peel grime party. He is very talented - Luka that reply was total waste, yet a few of us will have come to expect such profanity from yourself after you stated "Rinse FM is nothing without Roll Deep".
