Soulseek is the best filesharing program around, especially for rarer imports (or street released cdrs/tracks a la funk carioca or kuduro). Talking to people from around the world about x style/track/album is an added bonus.
For some reason I didn't realize the Killer Mike was a mixtape, I thought he just loved the guests.
Listening to the low quality Clipse leak as we speak...
This thread seems lacks the mention of two pretty hot albums, the Killer Mike - I Pledge Allegiance To The Grind double disk and the recently released Lil Wayne and Birdman lp
And when has Hell Hath No Fury been pushed back to now?
the whole "moral decline of hip hop" is such bullshit. I feel like people who say that have never listened to hip hop from the eighties (*cough* 2 live crew *cough*). really there was conscious hip hop then and now and there were pimp anthems then and now
politically I obviously agree more...
Yeah it's less "cohesive," but that sometimes makes it a more pleasant listen because it has some variety that the first volume definitely lacks
def worth a listen
some kuduro tracks here:

The micola and dj revolution tracks sound pretty cool; the cowa dona song is a kuduro remix of a popular funk carioca track
While more of an immiation of american hip hop than say grime, funk carioca, or kwaito there is a lot of good african rap.
