Naphta: Soundclash 1 (Grievous Angel Remix) Keysound LDN011

Soundclash is out now on Keysound Recordings LDN011 so I thought I'd give it a little thread of its own. 140bpm junglist garage. Big hook, big bass, big vocal. Destroys the dance every time. Proper tune. Best thing I've ever done. Boomkat review ain't bad:

You don't understand, zomby is burial. Used to be in SPK years ago and played bass in the nephilim to pay the rent before Carl fucked off to the OTO. Record storage options

Since I put all my vinyl in storage, I seem to have acquired around 500 12s and a few sevens. The main bulk of it is still in storage. When it all comes back I'm going to have a cull, bring it down to 1,000 max. Maybe do a Stelfox. For now I'm going for a double-width Besta from ikea - £75...

Grievous Angel on Mary Anne Hobbs

Listen to my mix for Mary Anne Hobbs on the radio one website. 15 minutes of banging, heavy dubstep, ragga techno, grime and funky. The other mixes on there are worth checking too - sbtrkt's excellent "bastard son of 2step and techno" stuff and Mr Beatnik's lovely downbeat soul and jazz...

    soca in grime?

Nah, noone's mentioned it. Or StageShow. I'd also list Wiley's Carnival - darkside soca. Mixes really well with Mark One's Amazon, which is a motherfucker of a tune from IIRC 2001.
