Anyone know of a good multi genre EDM internet radio station?

our show is up your street Kidlogic, we're starting up again soon, we can maybe air a prerecorded thing, late night, this maybe easier than getting a 'clearspot' show. Decibel Breach Resonance is strangely free of interesting DJ slots really, Solid Steel (yawn!) that's about it in terms of...

Pirate Flava / DJ Wrongspeed - Online Archive

more info The 'UK Shed Mix' wasn't really the point of the project, in retropect, it was just the tastiest beatz that came out of the project @ the time. There's loads more obviously, probably an hour more good stuff than wasn't included. As for the complaint, it remains strange, someone...

Pirate Flava / DJ Wrongspeed - Online Archive

Prompted by some external interest, now all the highly collectable CDs have been sold long ago, it was high time to archive. Think back to 2002, to the heady , chaotic days of the early Grime scene, baffling gameboy bleeps & more importantly those bonkerz ads for hairdressers down the Old Kent...

    The return of Einsturzende Neubauten...

naah, it was done by others as a staged 're-enactment', trying to look back to '84, they weren't involved,

    Moving to SE London- HELP!!!!!

if i were a student i'd sacrifice desirable environ for a) near Goldsmith's & b) cheap, it can be notoriously difficult crossing s.london unless u travel by bike or are going up and down the A2 (Oval-Lewisham) route. Brockley/Honor Oak/Forest Hill are probably where u should be looking. Nice...

Modern d'n'b is rubbish - tune ID and a moan from an old man

You could write a jocular essay about all that class <> music stuff , but once you invent the dumbest term in music genre history 'IDM' it's surley open season. That said, ha :) electronica is middleclass, yup! Great thread though , it get's more interesting as it goes on , some good posts...

    RIP Tony Wilson

indeed, great tribute, not afraid to criticise, "Could someone so forward, so garrulous, so indiscreet be trusted?" Also the bit about him not afraid to capitalise on Curtis' suicide is revealing. As a side note according to Kevin Cummins the Curtis biopic has got all wrong in tone. :(

    Chris Langham

True, but maybe this is the performance of his life, being an actor an all. I not saying the above isn't necessarily true to what he believes but perhaps only someone like him could really carry it off. Paul Whitehouse dismissed it all in court and gave no reason why he should be looking at...

A drum and bass mix for the fallen soldiers

 i've got ears! course it's tight mate, just like the fact that you can hear the mixer&records & stuff, i get bored of all those ableton/traktor mixes.

    beethoven & bmw outrage

i get the gist of what your saying but I think in this case it's fairplay. I generally loathe advertising but the point is "Can u remix Beethoven"? it's just taking it into a studio environment and tweaking it, not that different from Hooked on Classics. We're talking about the scherzo here...

A drum and bass mix for the fallen soldiers

very focused mix, it's all in the hi-hats, love the way the mixer 'interacts' with it all in it's own unique way! :p i don't think it'll win any converts but it's a refereshing journey into the outer reaches of d'n'b land.

    Record Shops are History.

RT@brick lane I'm really looking forward to this bold venture, it's in the right place and if it's as good as they say will be an excellent place to visit. But.....there's so much bad news around for music retailers you can't help but feel that it has a 50/50 chance of success.

    from london to brighton (film)

yeah it was hyped a bit too much. It does contain the No.1 'morning after monged living room' scene in cinematic history though which i thought was briliiantly setup. We've all been there ;)

    new Chemical Bros viddy

shame really the Chems kinda should've retired or aliased themselves but i guess the 'live' tag has forced them into unit. Hark back to 'Setting Sun' from 1996 was one of the best No.1s of the 90s, happy days. It's one of those few instances where a cover version really goes into overdrive...

    Daphne Oram "Oramics"

I got the CD from Paradigm and it's great thing to own. There's some very strange things on it including a music workshop from the 60's with some kids from Yorkshire. Their recordings alone make this a must.
