Yeah, EMI were frustrated that none of the radio stations wanted to play it, which just doesn't make sense when it was #1 in the UK. Dumb radio. Anyway that was a while back and I've seen it on C4 since. Jungle vibes at the end of the video: I like it.

Hey Dr Awesome, Loefah was the best eh, he played a bunch of militant stuff at that gig too, it sounded like rampaging drums of death to me. That was the first set in a long time when I didn't know what the hell was being played and totally loved it. More!!! Stoked to hear Ramadanman's "Work...

    Watching Metropolis with Jeff Mills

I was lucky enough to stumble across an evening where he introduced then showed this. From (hazy) memory I think he made his own edit of the film to remove the boring bits.

vinyl purists: you are boring. please stop.

Yeah, sorry, I'm kinda new here. I'm inclined to agree with this now: Anyway, even if this was about the subject "vinyl purists" I shouldn't have jumped in, I've done that to death over the last decade (working for Serato). Meh. Back to the music.

vinyl purists: you are boring. please stop.

Hey Zhao, I like reading a lot of what you say, and agree with a lot of it, but this doesn't make sense at all: You're saying: Either A or B. (it either has to be personal or general) Neither A nor B. (he doesn't specify personally or generally) Therefore B. (generally, of course).

He's not saying that using Ableton Live is dishonest for everyone. He's saying that using Ableton Live would be dishonest for him because he wants this to represent his DJ sets. Sure, I agree, however,.. playing live you can play whatever you want, but you can't simply put whatever you want on...

Same!!! The Megamix they did, playing only about 2 bars of all their hits strung together by Dynamite yelling "Switch" was the absolute bomb. Stupid fun ascending bass of Snapshot Switch! Clearskyz rolling after the drop Switch! Best Megamix ever.
