results from this kind of working process can be boring, but it can be so much fun making things in limited concept :) although it's challenging doing things in this way, in other hand it's also kinda relaxing when you have clear direction how things are made and there's no options-overload...

Calling all Dissensus producers as there's quite a much frustration going against this music, maybe us dissatisfied Dissensian producers should make a little compilation of ruff/rude/jagged/edgy tunes - stuff we'd like to hear. to show how it should be done. and i don't mean tunes should...

yeah, maybe uk bass music just needs to take a breath. besides, isn't new cultures always counter-cultures for existing ones? this sound resemble broken beat - although i like that music, many tracks were quite bland and tasteful to the detriment of energy. tho i feel kinda ungrateful saying...

I remember when I used to go dubstep nights here in Finland, I was one of the few people dancing in double time. Sometimes dancefloor crew would wave their hand in half time like in some hiphop gig... Maybe proper dancing were just too feminine/uncool for them - Finland is a heavy metal country...
