Badman. Downloading now.

I think in my heart of hearts I'd be happiest just mixing classic ardcore and jungle all the time. Prob for the best that it's relatively difficult and expensive to get hold of some of the records, so it forces me to keep making an effort with the new stuff.

Cheers fellas.

@Andy ; know what you mean, prices for this stuff can be outrageous. But there's still bargains to be picked up if you keep your eye out. I've got lucky a few times when people have sold their old collections. Never payed more than a tenner for a single record on principle. And there's some good value compilations to be had too in charity shops, thats where some of these come from.

You know, it would be cool if some of you lot put some half hour hardcore mixes on this thread too. I challenge you!

Cheers, yeah I know there's bargains to be had if you look in the right places, might look into it, tbh I'm still quite new to serious record-buying. But I guess a wee hardcore half-hour some time in the distant future is not totally out of the question. :)

Mix is sick btw. I often tend to forget just how big of a tune Menace is - the mix out of it into Feel Free sounds great too. Quite a few of these tunes strike me as possibly being right bastards to mix, so good work.

You know what, I find this stuff easier to mix than most 2step, dubstep or even funky for some reason. The manic breakbeats are a bit more forgiving if you're slightly off beat, and there's alway the option of just slamming tunes in. Great fun!

Nice on Benny, please put me down for a half hour, if there's still one going.
BTW Johhny 94 (I haven't played your set yet, so not sure which remix - there were tons) was by Johnny Jungle/Pascal & Sponge :)

Shieet can't contribute as I haven't had decks setuped for a while... I have one 40min jungle mix which I have to post later tho!

I love 30min mixes btw! Too long lenght can actually ruin a mix...

And yeah hardcore/jungle can actually be easier to mix than like 2step, as the sampled breaks are never completely in sync.

Great stuff continuum, really enjoyed this. Must admit I was a bit worried about the presence of all those wax doctor tunes when I saw the tracklist, but they were nothing like the weak, jazzy stuff that he started doing later it seems. And yeah, that Made U Dance tune is mental. Cheers!

thanks for the feedback :D

that Made U Dance track is a personal favourite. was DJing once round a friends house and put it on and he literally ran out of the room with a terrified expression on his face lol
