Feels as though Putin is actively trying to humiliate Trump... he kept him waiting for hours for their much advertised call, then when they spoke he agreed to a ceasefire - and then forty-five minutes later launched a drone attack on Kiev. It seems that he not only knows how ineffective Trump is, he wants the whole world to know that he knows it.

But he's really escalating it now, just rubbing his face in it. The next step is a joint press conference where he says "look at this fat fucking idiot" and Trump will be nodding and smiling along looking a bit uncomfortable but unable to actually do anything.
