Sky News reckon that each indictment increases his chance of winning, the court summons are now an essential component of his campaign

It increases his chance of winning the vote, but also increases his chance of being in jail or otherwise prevented from winning. It's a race between outcomes but not in the normal sense. And even as someone who is, at best, lukewarm about Trump, I find that quite interesting/funny.
