trapped is probably the way i would describe things now. i'm trapped in my flat. i don't like to spend too much time at home so i'm usually outside going around seeing if there are any adventures but with temperature close to zero degrees right now it's just not possible. you can't find any shelters, can't go into the bakery for a few minutes to warm up, or in a bar, or in the library. everything is closed. i even have to think about how and where i'm gonna pee if i go out on my bicycle for some hours. it's insane. it's not humane anymore.
i have caught myself walking up and down my flat out of sheer boredom. i can't enjoy video games, i can't enjoy movies, i don't feel any inspiration or motivation to create anything.

i went on two massive walks along the canal the last 2 days. had some nice convos. other than that, just knowing that i'm a being of pure light and universal consciousness

that is actually a very good point. the walk i did yesterday i was holding it in for ages. it's not easy. but don't let that get in the way of a nice walk, yyaldrin. just find a sneaky alley or a bush if you really need to

The problem with house is that it exists in a very low vibrational state and it never alters. That's not true of good house eg which is really exciting and fun but it's true of house house. It runs a warm bath and keeps the temperature constant, no perturbations, no shocks, no surprises, no fluctuations in intensity and affect. I actually think it's really really bad for people. It represents stasis complacency spiritual torpor and death and I want it eliminated from the world totally. Purged.

the nuum diet gets people all hopped up on e numbers during their formative years. total mania. like a kid who grew up eating chemical ridden synthetic foods. need a sugar rush just to feel something. mistaking overstimulation for optimum levels. can't do a balanced diet. you need a bit of vegetable based euphoria in there from time to time, in fact that should be the foundation. but best is both, with plenty of segways in other directions. with the nuum diet it's always got to be enthrallment. when dnb was done by the early 00s i was stuck, didn't know where to turn. still went to parties but knew that they weren't giving me the right nutrients. took a good 5/6 years and the right dj one summer night to understand that house is the foundations of it all, and therefore the purest source. see, house can do nuum. house can go there easily. but it doesn't need to go all pyromania to do so. can just be one well placed augmented chord. to put it in one box is ridiculous. laughable. that summer night i remember it all clicking. all the things that i loved about jungle and dnb were right there. in fact they'd never left. my ears just hadn't been open.

If memory serves @luka you don’t like hugs and I’m not really down with them either. Weird how culture warped into strangers hugging strangers after first meeting. Covid’s put a stop to that. Friends, family, loved ones, sure. Hugging my brothers can be funny as fuck. We embrace, then tell each other to fuck off. Strangers though? Get the fuck off me.
